The Directors Helgi & Hörður have more than a two decade worth of experience in filmmaking and photography combined. Helgi comes from a background in editing and Hörður from a career in photography where he hs shot for the biggest brands in Iceland as well as the likes of Yoko Ono, Michael Moore and Sigur Rós. Together they have directed commercials and music videos for top brands and labels in Europe and the US, with clients including Icelandair, the Academy Award-winning Marketa Irglova and the legendary band Joy Division. In 2021 they co-created and wrote a murder mystery comedy series filmed in Iceland and the Faroe Islands. They are currently involved in various scripted and non-scripted projects along side with their commercial work.
